Unitary Constitution

In 2017 the congregation considered and adopted moving to a unitary constitution, the main difference being the abolition of the Congregational Board and the establishment of groups to carry forward the work of  the Church.

As part of the Unitary Constitution, teams were formed to take forward and develop the work and life of the church and to report back to the Kirk Session. At present we have chosen to have Finance and Stewardship, Mission, Pastoral Care, and Fabric.

Each group is made up of a convener and members. Members of the committees need not necessarily be elders, but can come from the congregation.

The activities of the groups are determined by the type of group and these groups meet regularly outside of Kirk session meetings.
